I love this dress! It is way too heavy for me living in Hawaii but if I lived anywhere else it would be sold!  It is thick and it's forgiving, it has a cute flare but doesn't blow up in the wind showing off all your goods, either. The sleeves are elbow length... not sure how long the arms are on the model LOL  On the model they look like cap sleeves.  It was comfortable, flirty, professional, the right mix of everything. The color would make it a perfect fall dress. Love it!

I thought I would be the exception to the reviews because I closeted this as soon as it was in the New Arrivals. I even looked past the "Cupcake" review... but man this was... not good. The armholes are ginormous (evidenced in the posted link), the waist is extremely tight (I literally had to tuck my girls in there) and the hips definitely just... stay sticking out.  It is SO itchy.  My waist was just dying by the end of the day and any part of my arms that were touching the dress, th lining doesn't really help. I had to wear a sweater with it to my office to cover the gaping arm caves of "sleeves." Definitely disappointed in the quality of this one.

I'm pretty surprised this is a 2x on me since most tops I'm a 1x and Karen Kane tends to fit me a little looser.  I closeted this because of another member and I thought it was very cute. I wore it my "Mister Roger's Sweater" (it's a navy blue sweater with red hearts, courtesy of Forever 21 :-P) while I was in the office and if I had kept it longer it would be cute with a blazer. I have so many other things I want to get that I sent it back after 2 wears and I didn't get overwhelming compliments on it or anything but I did like it. It was comfortable. I can definitely see how it would be short on someone with a longer torso.

The bad part of having big hips is that this dress made me look p-r-e-g-n-a-n-t. Heads up, that is not a baby bump, it's just my fat. The dress looked adorable on other people, but even with a belt, I didn't feel hot. I actually felt like Tracy Turnblat in Hairspray! It did make me look pretty good from the back... most dresses I don't look great because my giant butt is like HELLER, but this dress kept it under control.  I could size up but the arms and chest were already huge, otherwise a size up would have been great!

This dress looks much more beautiful on than it felt. I felt like an uncomfortable sack and then I saw pictures and was like "Helllerrrr!" I was told, "That dress looks good! Your body is WEARING that dress!" I ordered this because I wanted a sexy va-va-voom dress for my birthday date with my sweetie, but my chest just didn't fill it out like I wanted, so I wore it to the office (Safety pinned, and I'm horrible at hiding safety pins, mind you!)  The wrap tie was EXTREMELY awkward. One side was way longer than the other and it came untied a lot, even when double knotted. This was definitely interesting to wear, but I'd much rather reminisce at the beautiful pictures :-)

This was apparently sent to me on accident, but I thought it was super cute. It is a heavy fabric so I did get pretty warm running errands in it in this tropical weather, but it was short so that helped... but it also hurt. I could not even squat to pick something up because this dress would show my butt cheeks. That is probably the main reason I didn't buy this, besides the price was too high for how rarely I'd wear this. I paired this with a white belt and I think it looked really cute. I would highly recommend this comfy nautical dress!

The very first HB dress I ever got was this one but in red. I loved it but ordered the 4XL because of the size chart. Truthfully, I need a 2XL in HB and was happy when I got this one. I would have bought it but I already bought 2 others :-) I love wearing these dancing, they are awesome to twirl in. Keep in mind, though, that the zippers on HB are not the best quality. They get caught in the fabric really easily so you have to be very careful. Also, the straps button in but they are really huge on me so I just tied them like a halter.

This dress is beautiful with a horrible price tag. I cannot dish out $80 for this dress with so many more fun things in store for me to get from my closet, but I felt uber beautiful wearing this dress today. With heels, it flowed perfectly. I loved the detail of the flowers, the sheer tie, the back... a lot of thought was put into this dress and I loved every part of it. I closeted this a long time ago and received a size too big so I recloseted in a smaller size just so I can have the joy of getting it again. I really don't have anything bad to say about this dress! It was just beautiful!

I didn't really care for this dress, and the only reason I wore it out and blogged it today is because I have a ton of cute stuff I want to wear so I wanted to wear it, get it over with, and get it back to Gwynnie Bee and move on to my adorable stuff!

Now... I really liked the "blue version" (http://beautifulpanda0808.blogspot.com/2014/04/taylor-dresses-graphic-print-side.html) of this except that it made me look like a hunchback, and this didn't, but the colors are not great on me.  The colors are peach and grey... and I thought, "Meh, I'll just wear it for the day." I got to my office and my friend said it reminded her of tiger stripes. Well you know how people call stretch marks post-baby tiger stripes?! So all I could think of all day is that my dress looked like stretch marks. Not that I don't don my stretch marks high and proud up at the beach, but I don't exactly want a dress made of them, either. I felt uncomfortable, even in spanx the fabric is very unforgiving.  It kept riding up all day which made it really uncomfortable at the office, I had to keep yanking it down then fixing the stomach area and then adjusting the neck... it was an overall wreck.  I definitely prefer the blue one. Now to send this back and start blogging the more adorable, flattering stuff!

I absolutely adore this dress... I will be holding on to it for a bit to see if I can convince myself to cough up the price tag for it.  I think I would have bought this instantly if it wasn't a pinch too big in the straps and the waist... I wore it with a sweater for the office and I just loved it. About 1/4 through my day, I was feeling the pleats and discovered POCKETS. I just love this so much and it's great for someone who isn't afraid to show a little leg.  It makes a cute bubble when you spin (because I always test spins whenever I try on a dress ;-) ) The fabric is light, comfortable, lined... honestly, I didn't like this in the GB photo and I closeted it based on another member's photos and I'm so glad I did... don't expect this one back for a while, this is going to get a few wears before I will let it go! I wouldn't necessarily recommend sizing down, but double check the size chart. I apparently didn't know what numbers were when I looked :-P

I really didn't like this dress, but I don't give anything 1 heart unless I can't wear it out of the house, and I did wear this out of the house. The material was horribly cheap feeling. The hems and lining felt like cheap low-count sheets and the rest of the it felt like a little girl's night gown.  The sash was made out of the sheet-material and I didn't like how it looked tied on the side so I moved it to the back. For my height, when I wasn't wearing heels, the point came awkwardly low, and because the fabric is so thin, a slight breeze through the sides blew the front and back right up in the air. It wouldn't be horrible if I paid $1 for it at a yard sale but for $100/month, I'm sad I used up a spot with this. This is a GB house brand and I'm not impressed with this garment.

Most dresses I get a 1x in but I went based on the size chart for this and it is pretty wide on me. It's a good length but it's a heavy material so I wasn't in love. It's very soft, though!! My husband kept rubbing my back and leg because it was so soft!  I had to pull it together with a belt because it hung on me but I wouldn't be able to size down because of the length.  It was comfortable but it felt more like a nightgown than a fun dress, though I did get quite a few compliments on it.
