Another win for Hell Bunny!  The zombie B-Movies on this dress are edgy and fun.  I paired it with a sweater and wore it to my office. It reminds me of comic books. I bought this! I am between a 2x and a 3x in Hell Bunny, so it was slightly too big in the 3x but it is comfortable when it is not so tight.  It's time to invest a fun petticoat for these cute dresses.  If it's pretty breezy, this dress WILL show your stuff, so be aware.

I almost bought this but it is very warm and I was burning up all day in it and since I don't have seasons, I just couldn't justify buying it and then rarely wearing it... but if we lived somewhere cooler this would have been an instant buy!  The belt that comes with it is comically small. I have a small waist compared to the rest of me and the belt just was not happening... It looked just fine without the belt, though. I loved the colors!

 I would NOT try to wear this as a dress with leggings unless you are on the shorter side... as you will see in the photos, it would be bad news bears to wear this without some reasonable bottoms.

I only have a front view photo of this because I bought it the day I got it, wore it once, and then the zipper broke!! :-(  I am cutting my losses because of the super cheap price tag on it, but I love this dress. I put it on and ran to the post office before going into my office and got hit on twice at the UPS store and then at the ATM.  I fit pretty tightly around my waist but a size up is a bit loose, but I feel like in general this brand was made for my body.  The halter ties do put a bit of strain on my neck, holding everything up that it does, but what can you do? The dress is adorable and I really need to invest in a petticoat for these dresses.

This dress is so confusing to me, haha! It does feel like Grandma's housedress, but smack on a belt and it looks 3,000x better.  The fabric has much left to be desired, though.  The outer part feels like hammock material and the lining rides up a lot. I was constantly pulling the dress back down.  The pattern is pretty wonky, even for Hawaii.  It was definitely fun to wear ONCE, and now it is going back.  You could definitely pull this off in HI... not sure where else you're going to get away wearing this.

I concur with past reviews that say it would make more sense to ruch on both sides, but I enjoyed wearing this to the office. I did, however, discover that flowers make my butt look huge! :-P  I wouldn't buy this but it was fun to wear once.  If you don't like it being confining, there is room to size up. I'm glad I got the 1x but I don't shy away from conforming dresses. I do need to get myself a fair of Spanx that shrink my butt. That would be good.  It does cling easily to underwear... so my spanx posed an issue since I had to keep pulling the dress down. They were like Velcro to each other! Other than that, I love the material. It's soft and comfortable!

I normally don't closet sweaters since it's so dang hot here and all, but I saw this on another member and really wanted it so I could style it like her! So, this cute pairing is not my original idea. :-)

I love the stars on it, but it felt really stretched out. I know this has been in circulation for a while so I don't know if it's just worn or if this is how it's supposed to be, but the bagginess allowed me to layer the shirt so it all worked out. I wouldn't really say this is light, it's not the heaviest sweater but it's not really breathable.  It really didn't give me any kind of shape which sizing down probably would have helped, but I wanted to layer it with a collared shirt.  I would probably order a size down and wear it a lot more if I lived somewhere with seasons.

I got a similar Igigi dress (Igigi Aileen dress in Fuego) in a size 18-20 and it looked hideous. It hung on me like a sack, made my hips look lumpy and gross... so when this dress was on its way I was nervous and disappointed I didn't remove it from my closet. I reluctantly tried it on and my husband and I both loved how it looked. It fit so much better than the other larger size, surprisingly enough! Because it's a faux wrap dress, the lower layers hug you but the outer layer covers the lumps underneath. So if you like one or the other, try both in the right sizes. :-) The arms fit great but it is awfully low-cut. Even with my fancy bra (as in the one that doesn't hold me like a sports bra) it showed a lot so I had to safety pin it in the middle to cover those girls up.  The pattern reminds me of a funky 80s shirt :-P The fact that the black part started at my waist made it look like a high waisted skirt which I loved.

This dress was pretty cute, but it was pretty short and not great for a breezy day, which are many days where I live! It wasn't the worst marilyn monroe fly-up but I did have to hold it down when I was walking or it would blow up.  The fabric was light and airy but it really rides up when you sit down. I had sun burned my butt worse than I have ever sun burned anything the day before yesterday so it was extremely painful to sit in this dress with how far it came up. The straps were too big but the waist and hips fit fine. I had to wear a belt to break up all that pink though!

I have been dying to get a Cherry Velvet dress in from GB since I first laid eyes on a dress in this brand... I had no idea how it would fit because these retro styles tend to be cut in ways I'm not used to, but they sure seem to flatter my shape.  When I got this today, it was just in the nick of time - I wore it to Contra Dance! I'm only bummed I am not going into my office at all this week due to friends visiting, because I won't be wearing it in to the office, but I'm sure I can squeeze a few more wears out of it before sending it back!  I love the back so much. This is still a little too expensive for me, despite the excellent price tag on it compared to regular price.  It is definitely tight in the bust, so if you have similar measurements, I would say sizing up to a 1x would be safe. I prefer a tighter cut so I didn't mind the 0x.  I loved the pockets. Yes, they are a little higher than usual, but I'm not storing things in these shallow pockets so I'm not overly concerned on placement. I got compliments on this ALL night. One girl even said, "I've been eyeing up your dress ever since I walked in!" If you are like me and like these fun retro chic dresses, definitely give this one a try! I will recloset this later this year and hope the price drops :-)

Something important to note. This is not white or cream like I thought. It is pink, like strawberry ice cream. I was surprised, but I still loved the dress.

I totally bought this. I saw it on a Member Model blog and added it, unsure of how it would look on me. I put it on right away when it came in the mail and it felt really heavy for this Hawaiian tropical weather, and I immediately thought, "If only I lived somewhere with seasons..."  So I put it on to wear it to the office today and I just felt so cute all day. Pretty much everywhere has a/c so I wasn't too hot and it happened to be a breezy day so I decided that for the awesome price, I had to own it. I love the belt, I love the pattern, the cowl neck... I wasn't sure I'd like a whole lot of it from the picture because animal prints are super bold for me. I'm so glad I took a chance on this and that it now has a home in my own closet!

I am SO glad I read previous reviews and sized up on this. I am between a 1x and a 2x or a 16-18, and I ordered a 3x in this!!! It was baggy pretty much everywhere except my hips and man was it short... If I had ordered anything smaller, tights would have been out of the question and skinny jeans would have been the next step. I almost contemplated it but I wore this to the office and didn't want to wear jeans on a Monday.  Even then it was iffy, and against my better judgment I did wear it to my office.  I wore flats with it. The last time I wore tights were for a funeral in WI... you just don't wear tights or hose in Hawaii!  I paired it with a thick black belt, but I've outshrunk my belt in my weight loss and so it didn't do much and flopped around and so I am happily sending this back today. :-)  I would DEFINITELY not get this if you are larger than a size 18 unless you want to wear it as a tunic... do not count on wearing this as a dress... I really should have gone with my gut on this one and worn jeans with it, and I'm not one that's afraid to show some leg. The lace back was my favorite thing about this dress!
