Yes, this did feel like baby clothes. It was awfully staticky so I was adjusting the back most of the day. I did get complimented on it a few times but it felt bulky to me. I know this is an "older" housebrand and they are making adjustments so hopefully the quality improves. I liked the pattern and color, the length was great, and my only other complaint is the waist hit me a little bit low - I have a pretty high waist.  It all felt a bit amateurly sewn together... but here's to housebrand improvements in the future!

My measurements in this Dress are:
Height: 5'5"
Weight: 257
Chest: 45 (40 DD)
Waist: 41
Hips: 56
Thigh: 31.75
Arm: 14.75

I think I may have FINALLY circulated through all of these skirts that have this same cut! Same complaint, the elastic on the back is really bad, had to cover it with a belt. This particular skirt felt really bad. I've had this cut in both 1x and 2x, this one being a 1x, and it felt extremely tight and uncomfortable. The others were interchangeable.  The purple doesn't look as bright on the actual skirt as it does in the stock photo on Gwynnie Bee's website. Overall, it was same ole, same ole, for me since I've had this skirt what... 4 times now? ;-) If these skirts were in the $20 and under range I would have bought one of them.

My measurements in this Skirt are:
Height: 5'5"
Weight: 257
Chest: 45 (40 DD)
Waist: 41
Hips: 56
Thigh: 31.75
Arm: 14.75

I have referenced a few times that I have felt like Mrs. Doubtfire in a dress. It could have been the fact that I was watching Witness Protection the night before but all day while wearing this, I could hear, "Ya heard?" and "Ah hell!" and "hal-lay-loo-yer!" coming from my mouth. I straight up felt like Madea in this one.

The collar was quite loose but the neckline was high so it felt a little off, but the shortness of the dress helped with me not feeling so much like an outspoken elderly woman in a housedress. I ended up tying the belt around a white sweater to break up the pattern because it was just too much in person. It also had a hard time covering up my bra straps, so a cover up was necessary for the office!

My measurements in this Dress are:
Height: 5'5"
Weight: 257
Chest: 45 (40 DD)
Waist: 41
Hips: 56
Thigh: 31.75

Ho-kay. I was in love with this dress, and then a bunch of people dogged on it, and then I sort of liked it, and then I held on to it for 6 weeks so I could wear it contra dancing and... I really didn't like it. I loved the lightness of the fabric, I did not like how I felt like I should be cooking eggs and bacon with one hand, balancing a baby on each hip, and holding a laundry basket in the other.   Who knows why some pieces of clothing make us feel a certain way, but that's how I felt in it.

It didn't feel like typical Hell Bunny to me. The piping along the "underboob" sat funny and I felt like the collar stuck out in the back. It also made me look like my armpits wanted to reach out and be free.

My measurements in this Dress are:
Height: 5'5"
Weight: 257
Chest: 45 (40 DD)
Waist: 41
Hips: 56
Thigh: 31.75
Arm: 14.75
Pant Size: 18
Shirt Size: 1x
Skirt Size in Photo: 2xl

Fuzzy pics! But no matter, I was sweaty from dancing :)

This dress is just beautiful in the photo. Even in my pics, I think, "Hey, this isn't so bad!" But while wearing it, I straight-up felt like Mrs. Doubtfire - like I should have been carrying around a huge purse and saying, "He broke mah bag, the bahstard!" As soon as I took it out of the box I thought it felt like a heavy sweatshirt and could quite possible pass for curtains or a sofa cover. I was bummed but put it on anyway and it was really quite big on me but I didn't want to size down because it felt like it could get a bit tight around my upper tummy before the flare starts. I felt frumpy - major bummer! Even the neckline felt floppy. The belt was a bit long. I suppose this was sizing error on my part, which sucks because I check the size chart EVERY TIME for every item.  Even sizing down, I anticipated the pattern having a lace overlay, the lace is printed on the dress and all my jewelry just looked like cheesy costume jewelry on it. Live and learn and on to the next!

My measurements in this Dress are:
Height: 5'5"
Weight: 257

The triste skirt is a lot like the Spruce & Sage Rainbow Chevron Skirt and the Postcards Colorful Ikat Skirt. They are the same cut, just different patterns. I like all of them, but this skirt I got in a 2x. The other 2 I got in 1xes. If you have similar measurements to me, you won't go wrong with the 1 or the 2. The 2 actually move a lot more along my waist so I would have preferred the one because although tighter, it stayed still. I belted all 3 because the elastic in the back just looks funny - I had to cover it up.

The BB Dakota top was crazy soft. I considered keeping it but there's not many places I can show the back so I sent it back to get more goods, but it was adorable for a double date night. It was long so it would be a good match for skinny jeans. It does run a little big. 1xes normally fit me great on top and this was a bit baggy, although not so noticeable in my pics because it was tucked in. It's also VERY SEE THROUGH. I wore a regular bra but then also had to wear a black bralette over that bra so that the pattern/gray on the real bra didn't show through.

My measurements in this skirt are:
Height: 5'5"
Weight: 257

Hips: 56
Thigh: 31.75

Another housebrand item. This was just like the spruce and sage rainbow chevron skirt - the fit and cut - everything but the pattern. I liked the S&S Chevron skirt better than I liked this (pattern-wise.)  It fit exactly the same way so the waist was pretty tight. I paired it with a tee shirt and a belt for a casual look for contra dancing. This is definitely something you want to tuck your shirt into or else it may look pretty shapeless. The solid black band gives it a nice belt appearance (although I still put a belt on over mine to hide the elastic in the back.)

My measurements in this skirt are:
Height: 5'5"
Weight: 257
Chest: 45 (40 DD)
Waist: 41
Hips: 56
Thigh: 31.75

I really liked this dress. The fit was comfortable, the cut was nice... but the material had it riding up all day which made it pretty inappropriate getting in and out of the car, standing up.. I was readjusting it all day. I almost bought this but it just wasn't feasible for someone who is moving throughout the day.

My measurements in this dress are:
Height: 5'5"
Weight: 257
